These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website Anna Lurot, West Sussex Psychology and the services provided through it. By accessing or using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website.
1. Services
Anna Lurot provides psychological therapy, assessments, and consultations for children, adolescents, and adults. Services include but are not limited to individual therapy, family therapy, and mental health assessments. Therapy is available in person at the clinic located in Littlehampton, West Sussex, as well as remotely via video consultations.
2. Appointment Scheduling & Cancellations
- Booking: Appointments can be scheduled through the direct contact. All sessions are subject to availability.
- Cancellations: A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling of an appointment. Failure to do so will result in a full charge. Please note, if sessions are paid for using the insurance, the full charge will be invoiced to you directly.
- Late Arrivals: Sessions will end at the scheduled time, even if you are late. Please arrive on time to ensure you get the full benefit of your session.
3. Payment
- Fees: Fees for services will be clearly outlined at the time of booking. Payments are due before the time of the session unless prior arrangements have been made.
- Additional Fees: Any letters, reports, emails, or calls that require more than 15 minutes duration will incur an additional cost which will be discussed with you on an individual basis. You are also responsible for any excess for your insurance policy.
- Accepted Methods of Payment: Payments can be made via bank transfer & credit card.
- Insurance: Anna Lurot is recognised by most major health insurance providers. We are also able to provide invoices for your sessions, if you wish to seek reimbursement through another insurance provider.
4. Confidentiality
All information shared in therapy sessions is confidential and will not be disclosed without your consent, except where required by law (e.g., risk of harm to yourself or others). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more detailed information on how we handle your personal data.
5. Therapy Process
Therapy is a collaborative process that can take time and effort. While therapy can offer significant benefits, it may also bring up challenging emotions or experiences. The outcome of therapy depends on the individual, and no guarantees can be made regarding specific results.
6. Health & Well-Being
You agree to disclose any relevant mental or physical health conditions that may affect your therapy. If you are under the care of another healthcare provider, it is your responsibility to inform them of your therapy with Anna Lurot.
7. Liability
While every effort is made to provide the best care and services, Anna Lurot is not liable for any adverse outcomes that may arise as a result of therapy or assessments. You agree to take full responsibility for your own mental and physical health throughout the therapy process.
8. Use of AI Note-Taking Software
To enhance the therapeutic experience, I use Heidi Health, an AI note-taking software that transcribes and records session notes, allowing me to focus fully on you during our time together. This software is secure, and the data is handled with the utmost care and confidentiality. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the use of this technology, please let me know. Further details and a consent form for its use will be provided separately.
9. Use of Practice Management Software
I use practice management software, Kiku to securely store notes and client information. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the use of this system, please let me know.
10. Intellectual Property
The content of this website, including text, images, and logos, is owned by Anna Lurot, West Sussex Psychology and is protected by copyright law. You may not use any content from this website without prior written consent.
11. Amendments
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. All changes will be posted on this page with the date of the most recent update. By continuing to use the website, you agree to the updated Terms and Conditions.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in West Sussex.
